What is LifeSaver and Who Are We?
Our company is a manufacturer of personal health awareness tests designed to use only the saliva in your mouth to determine an accurate result. The patented and patent pending technology was designed after identifying the need for easy personal alcohol testing. Founded by in 2002, we have pursued the idea that everyone should have access to health screening solutions which are affordable, fast and accurate and can be done at home to provide the user with vital information.
LifeSaver’s Global Mission
We have a singular mission: “Save Precious Lives.” This statement is implemented in all aspects of the the Company’s operational approach which can be understood and embraced by all.
The basic foundation of “Saving Precious Lives” pulls all people together and by doing so we are setting a higher standard for the healthcare industry. We believe in positively affecting the communities we are part of however our mission does not stop at home. Our efforts will be extended to a global level. We all have a responsibility to help the less fortunate and it starts with having better, more accessable healthcare.
Patented and Patent Pending Technology
As mentioned above we have both patented and patent pending products. Why is this important?
While the patent is pending, it remains secret. The competition does not know what is new and different about your invention. The competition faces uncertainty if they choose to copy the invention. They cannot attempt to design around your patent if they do not know the patent claims. So, they copy at their own peril. While pending, the patent value includes the ability to maintain secrecy.
Many businesses maintain patent pending benefits as long as possible. This strategy is sometimes called “time-shifting” by patent attorneys. Delaying patents can be a big benefit for a business.
Simply put, any company with a significant technology patent portfolio will be in play. The patent arms race is on and now the valuation for patents has been set at “ridiculous”. Cash-rich companies have the go- ahead to gobble up portfolios.
