Instant Salvia tests That Deliver Blood Test Quality Results Without The Needle Or The Lab

INTRODUCTION

Ttest USA, Inc. is a medical diagnostics company that will become the leader in non-invasive, saliva-based, rapid testing screening products for both infectious and medical diseases as well as drugs of abuse.

Until now, due to the delicate and complicated structure of the biological components used in saliva-based diagnostics, testing was limited to a trained technician in a controlled environment. Ttest’s patented packaging system and advanced proprietary formulation allows simple, inexpensive and accurate enzyme and immunoassay tests to be brought to the point-of-care with convenience and cost-effectiveness not previously possible. This combination greatly advances the utility of saliva-based diagnostics by enhancing the robustness of the test reagents at higher temperature and humidity conditions commonly met with in the field.

The Company’s Platform Technology provides a growing number of diagnostic capabilities such as tests for HIV and drugs of abuse, to a variety of markets in the United States and internationally. All Ttest products are administered by simply wiping a plastic indicator stick across the tongue. It’s as easy as licking a stamp.

MARKET

The world market for in vitro diagnostic (IVD)2 tests (which includes laboratory and clinical tests for disease as well as substance abuse) is approximately $20B annually and is expected to rise to $40B by 2007.3 Included in these markets are hospitals, public health agencies, clinical laboratories, physicians offices, workplace sites, insurance companies, criminal justice and drug rehabilitation agencies.

HIV Testing - The World Health Organization's 2003 publication "The Right to Know: New Approaches to HIV Testing and Counseling" states that it is estimated that by 2005 there will be up to 180 million people in need of testing and counseling annually. This statement reflects the number of people in need of testing, not the number of tests. If the same people are tested multiple times, the number of tests annually could exceed 200 or 300 million. Our initial focus will be the international market as 95% of people with HIV live outside of the U.S.

Drug and Alcohol Testing - The two largest companies in this sector, which together account for about 17% of the U.S. IVD market, conduct about 55,000 substance abuse urine tests every day at approximately $39.95 per test and takes 2-3 days for results. This equates to 14.3 million tests per year and implies a total market for occupational testing (drugs and alcohol in the work place) of more than 80 million tests per year. This does not include the European market, which is estimated to be one-third that of the U.S.

Alcohol Testing - In 1998, approximately 1.4 million drivers were arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or drugs. The NHTSA estimates that approximately 10 alcohol tests are performed for every DUI arrest. This equates to 14 million tests annually administered by law enforcement in the United States.
